Houston officials meeting with Michael Carter-Williams...vet minimum contract we hope matches up with Shaun Livingston. WE NEED TO BEAT THE WARRIORS.
If you are going to lose Ariza, those two guys, Evans and Pope (and Ellington) would be difference makers and off set the Ariza loss some. The other guys mentioned, Ennis, etc are downgrades.
Atlanta just need to see nobody has interest in Bazemore (which i think is likely), at that point they can decide to whether it's better to eat his 18M contract for two years, or if it's better to eat Ryan's 20M contract for two years while getting back something like 2nd rounders, young players, cash...i mean, that would still be something, which is better than nothing. I already did, but if Amick says we're still trying, i think it's ok to have at least some interest in the situation.
how has bazemore been playing? i hink anderson isnt as useless as he was in the playoffs. just a normal amount of useless. hopefully atlanta sees it that way
I agree. And I don't expect it. Especially with Pope being a Klutch Sports client. BUT.....the Rockets have a GREAT ROLE available. Starting SF on a championship contending team, with willing passers in Harden/CP and run a MDA offense. That is an attractive spot. Play well and get back out on the market in 2019 for a larger payday.
Wilson Chandler is extremely washed and would not be a viable replacement. If anyone thinks he can contribute or replace Ariza on this squad, they did not watch the Nuggets on a consistent basis this year. So here's to hoping Iko is wrong again.
love wilson. i think our broadcast crew does as well, they've always dapped him up when we play the nuggets past few seasons
