@basketballholic yeah, i think the same, ch44 saying the Lakers are trying to move up in the draft not a coincidence i guess.
Yeah, not sure why the Spurs should care about Love when they have already LMA, Pau and Bertans on the roster...Love is also going to get paid next summer.
If LeBron stays in Cleveland longterm, he may not see the NBA Finals for the rest of his career. Be smart, LeBron.
They can trade Love to Phoenix for pick 16 and either send both 1st rounders to SAS or package them to move up. For example Dallas seems interested to trade down. I'm sure if they could send no4 pick to SAS that would be the best offer Bufford could get.
IMO it's less a talent issue than a coaching issue. Blame? The man did go to The ef ef ef i en en en als for the 9th time, 8th in a, an amazing, a row! Love? Gimme KL in lieu of Ryno and the Parade was held where? HERE! Hood? Man how he wjatever the opposite of flouished is. Tristan, Hill, legit rotation players. Overall talent not primo but with a solid coaching staff they would have been much more solid.
We’re not out of the race, but I actually took the interview to meanhe’s not coming back to Cleveland for sure. If he could have had Kyrie and George if he committed to Cleveland and he didn’t last year, he’s not coming back this year. Hard to speculate whether he was thinking LA back then or HOU so I won’t.
Funny how the interpreted quote is definitive ("Windhorst: Boston is the top contender for Kawhi Leonard") while all the DIRECT quotes are "I think..." and "I don't think..."
The new Mavs post-Mark'sMouth are not surprisingly more quiet; I expect them to double-down to get Bamba. But, whadda I know?
what do you know? as much as everyone here. =) Imo Carlisle will not be very interested in a full rebuild. Already this year he didn't seem too happy for having to put up with SmithJr. Heck I think that the Cavs could even bypass the Suns and trade 8+ Love for no.4 directly if Love is open to resigning with the full max. They could possibly also salary dumb a contract like JR in that trade.
This. Either they trade the young talent picks for proven all stars. Or the ride the youth train till they become allstars. Win win
I guess so. Imo, the Kings have great pieces here, 2nd pick which means 90% chance to get Doncic, they could also trade Cauley, Jackson...pretty sure they're all interesting pieces for the Spurs, but will Kawhi stay there? I don't think so. I think they (like Dallas and Cleveland) should definitely stay away and keep their picks, but that's just me. In the end i still think we should know what the Spurs will though, cause if they want to stay competitive they may prefer a package build around proven players like Irving and someone else from Boston, if they'll go for a rebuild (i have a difficult time to see this happening unless Pop retires but you never know) young players and picks would be obviously what they'll ask for.
I can't think of a more anti spurs star than Kyrie. btw pop has already said he will retire in 2020. Then it's not farfetched for the Spurs to already plan to rebuild. Of course the other teams should keep their picks but a lot of times their owners aren't patient.
