If Morey could pull Clyde for JVG, that would put us over the top. It allows Bullard to play his natural position as the man upstairs and gives us an all-star quality commentator.

    In Morey We Trust

    What a horrible idea!
Who the hell is going to play PF?
You can't have Maxwell and Drexler on the same team, they hate each other!
    ;)

I know this is just a joke thread, but did the Rockets really decline that much during the season post Clyde trade?

I was really young during 1995 season :D.

They did but injuries to Dream, Horry and "Sam I am" were major reasons why. They basically played a lot like the Spurs do now a days..."F" the regular season and just get healthy for the playoffs.

Edit - My bad...it was Carl Herrera who missed time that season and the playoffs not Cassell.

They showed 'em first hand how it's done.

"Hakeem has David Robinson just bamboozled!"

It took a while for the team to get healthy and develop chemistry. It seemed like they got rolling about three weeks before the playoffs so even though they were a 6 seed they were playing much better than that.

robert horry and chuckie brown will get abused by carl malone,if we so happen to beat utah in a 5 game series, there is no way horry and brown can match up against charles barkley, we'll probably lose early big leads in 3 out of the first 4 games, this is why we should have kept otis thorpe

Anytime you can criticize a 2nd championship for a middle of the road power forward who was hardly heard from again, you've just got to do it.

no. Otis Thorpe was an All Star, who later helped the Pistons make it to the playoffs.
