Cincy is the better team, and they’re at home. Hats off to them. Also **** them!

That P.I. is looming large. But Tune also threw that terrible interception. Cincy bottling up McCaskill is the difference in the game. Coogs got to AAC ship and into the B12. Net positive season by a lot.

The worst part about this is that this game was totally winnable.

    Congrats to Cincy.

Funny how a 60-second stretch changed the whole complexion of the game

Hope UofH can keep it up next year

    Tech was winnable
    We weren't winning this one

They did what we failed to do against southern miss all those years ago. Good **** to them and best of luck in the playoffs.

Congratulations to Cincinnati. I think they can make some noice in the playoffs. This was a winnable game, but the Tune interception was a turning point. Plus the offense line just collapsed. Seriously, they gave up EIGHT sacks. Also, the defense had two good quarters and looked lost otherwise. But the bottomline, Bearcats were the better team. UH had a great season and should get a good bowl game. Don't take the stupid Fenway bowl!

Our season was better than our team, I think. I didn’t particularly like Holgorsen or Tune when the season began, and I’m still not loving them now. Still, good season that hopefully they can both build on. Hope we put some guys in the League and look better to recruits than we did last year. Most indelible memories of this season to me will be blowing it against ****ING Tech and watching a middling game against ECU at 11 pm.

We lost mainly because of 3 things and in this order….

    1. the bullshit PI call. We are on their home field and they are playing for everything. Momentum is huge in college football, everyone knows this. We go from stopping them and getting the ball to cincy’s ball 1st down inside the 10 yard line. That was really the game right there. BUT……
    2. Our offensive line is absolute trash
    3. Our defense gave up a lot of big plays early.

still, if that ref doesn’t make the bad call and its our ball, it changes everything. Cincinnati is better, everyone knows that. That call was a killer though. We were right there in that moment about to get into their heads. That call was a total game changer. Cincinnati has been real good for 4 or 5 years now so we are a little behind them in the process. The Coogs will catch them. Maybe next year. The O-line will be improved next year and that was the main weakness this season and in this game.

We dominated the first half and then didn't show up in the 2nd. It was winnable.

And they closed the door like 5 minutes into the 3rd. They are just a better team top to bottom.

This game came down to pretty much what most sane people thought it would go.

    Explosive Plays - advantage UC
    Turnovers- advantage UC

You can't get blitzed 21-0 to start the half in a one point game. This was over right when that happened.

Coogs need to get better on the offensive line and we need depth at WR it was a blow losing Carter late in the year.

UC also did a good job taking Trahan out of this game he has been Tune's safety valve all year.
