13-yr old girl strip searched at school... case now with Supreme Court

I think it was a nurse who strip searched her.

If they feel they need to strip search a kid shouldn't it cross their minds to do it in the presence of the kid's parent/s?

 

We aren't talking about searching a backpack or locker or binders. If that is what we were talking about, there would be no real story. We are talking about forcing a 13 year old girl to strip. If that is where we are going with this, then it needs to be done by the actual authorities.

 

You don't see any distinction between being handcuffed and being strip searched?

 

Between a 5 yr old and a 13 yr old?

The point is. . . if they will do one. . what makes you think they will not do the other?

When you don't give a sh** about one. . . . . then it is easy to expect people to not give a sh** about the other

I don't think I've ever heard of a student getting stripped searched at school. At the very least, I think they should have called the parents, and let the parents deal with it. What were the odds of her hiding pills in her bra, or wherever they were hoping to find them?
