Maybe this game was a wakeup call to the offense. Defense did it's job. This loss is on the offense. Oh well. Time to head into next week looking to go 1-0. Gotta learn how to defend the triple option and fix our offensive struggles. Hopefully Ward is fully healthy and ready to go.
damn knew this was a comeback game, but i thought we would win. not the end of the world. just win against navy and win the aac title and we still making the new years bowl.
Will people please stop saying this? Not a damn thing about this game was a trap. Nothing was ventured here, and nothing was unexpected. It's not a "trap" when you lose on the road with your 2nd string QB.
Not to be a Pollyanna, but UH was probably not going to make the Playoff anyway. A New Year's Six is still possible (even likely) if they beat Navy. There's a lot riding on that game.

That's the exact opposite of a trap game, actually. This was not a surprise to anyone, especially not the team. Herman said all week he was emphasizing they not take UConn lightly and to remain focused on this week's game. A trap game is when you actually have something to play for against a sad-sack team who has hardly any business competing with you, let alone beating you. This game satisfied none of those 3 conditions. The game meant nothing to our football destiny, UConn is a decent team with everything to play for, and UH had significant injuries all over the field. Not a trap game. Nobody was overlooking UConn, and the outcome was not much of a jaw-dropper.
Someone needs to drop you on your head to knock some sense into you, and hopefully make you realize that you're a MISERABLE person.

Need to beat Navy then Temple. If we can still make the NY6 bowl then no biggie, weren't gonna sniff top 10 in the official rankings anyway even if we beat Memphis, Navy and Temple by 100. Still thinking UH joins the Big 12 in a couple years.
