    Houston is 2nd in the nation in tackles for loss.
    Houston is 9th in interceptions
    Houston is 14th in red zone defense
    Houston is 17th in sacks
    Houston is 27th in turnovers gained

    The Defense has and will continue to make a difference.

    Defense is soft but it's opportunistic. Creating turnovers is the key to winning with an offense like ours. Not too shabby in the redzone, either.

    anyone who thinks UH would drop 30 to 40 on LSU or Bama is straight crazy. Now it might happen, but how much would they score on UH's defense? SEC offensive/defensive line would destroy UH's line. I'm glad UH is having such a great season but let's not get ahead of ourselves here. We wouldn't be able to stop their power running backs (see the Oregon vs LSU game). It will wear them down after a while. I just hope for the best bowl game UH can get. Hopefully they can jump Boise State.

    Houston would destroy Alabama in a bowl.








    They beat them already this year. Alabama at Birmingham that is.


    Seriously though, I'd love to see a BCS bowl against anyone. Even a rematch with UCLA which is unlikely but possible. Anything would be better than the dang Liberty bowl against SEC #8 or 9.

    Are you being trolled by Green Wave fans? UAB cronies? The mighty Georgia St Panthers? All I'm saying is stay grounded. Understand that you have not played a quality opponent. It's an exciting time but the school still has a lot to prove. I will lay down and give way to the smack talk once you beat a good school. I think the thing that irks other fans is to see the smack talk based on playing trash schools. It seems a big foolish. Go to that big bowl and beat someone.
