That's not a fair comparison because Sam Houston has played a tougher schedule than the Coogs. ;)

It's plain and simple. Sam Houston is afraid to schedule UH.

It's amazing. Houston and Sam Houston State are both undefeated, with the same records.

I was reading an article about Tulane's upset of LSU in the early 1980's. Not sure how accurate the article was but here was a paraphrase "...however, Tulane decided not to join the SEC and instead focused on academics". Funny considering Baylor, Rice, Stanford, Duke, Houston, and Vanderbilt all decided to join or remain in their large football conferences around the same timeframe.

In a head to head match up SHSU loses by double digits. But SHSU is still the top ranking college football program in Texas.

Let's not dwell on this. Let's celebrate the fact that UH could be a BCS buster and SHSU is talented enough to win the FCS championship. The Dynamo will destroy the Galaxy and the Texans will win the Superbowl.

These are great times...and I haven't even thought about basketball.

Mom is in the Big Easy for this one with some college friends. I hope Case puts on a good show for her.

I am really getting excited because this team just keeps getting better.

Sam Houston could probably drop 48 on the UH defense. Of course, UH could probably drop 100 on the Sam Houston defense.

I like the way you think.

    Go Kats
    Go Coogs

I'm anxious to see if the defense can keep from giving up some big plays or extended drives. They need to start focusing on maintaining the intensity throughout the game rather than the last three quarters.

Any "specific" links? I would like to watch it. You know Tulane will give it all they have to get the upset, especially in the first quarter. It should be interesting for awhile, but not for long, I hope. UH has a history as a really bad road team; I hope they are past that. Again, it is the UH defense that scares me. They have looked decent a few times, but that UTEP game was so awful, I can't get over it.
