June Jones didn't look to happy about Cotton Turner's home run TD and I don't blame him. Piling on always comes back to haunt you. I hope Tulsa has forgotten about the 100 points the Coogs put on them years ago.
What are you talking about piling on? Our 2nd string QB threw a touchdown. Are they supposed to go out and kneel on every play?
Agreed. I can't stand debates about running up the score. As long as the winning team has second or third string guys in the game and they aren't running out of bounds or using timeouts, I don't think anyone should make a fuss. If I were a player on the losing team in a blowout, I would be more embarrassed if a team ran between the tackles with some walk-on for the entire fourth quarter.
Tonight breaking in our favor...Clemson down, Oklahoma in a dog fight, Oregon getting taken to the house. OSU already beat. Still 2 more weeks of madness left.
So if nothing absurd happens like Alabama losing to Auburn or LSU losing twice, the national title game looks set with those two. Any thought on who UH could play in the Sugar? Would the Sugar folks get two at-large picks before anyone else since both national title representatives are from the SEC?
Said so by who? I know there were officials from the Sugar and Orange out there, but who said what. Looks like it would be a match up between Virginia Tech and Clemson. Clemson took one on the chin.
The Orange Bowl reps were ALL over the place today, out at gameday, out at the tailgates, on the field during the game. The Sugar Bowl guys were watching from the booths.
Just got back, started tailgating at 10 then went to the game. All around awesome day. Sucks though, I didn't realize Cotton Turner was a Senior.... dammit I wanted to see what he could do next year. Broadway next in line?
Maybe they were just busy taking notes? Anyways, man the best game I've ever been too, even better than the Rice game. Security was probably the most strict I've ever seen at today's game.
