Unless we turn this ship around, I predict that JVG and Ewing will both be back in NY coaching the Knicks, and Isiah Thomas will be out anyways.....perfect fit. All 3 are on their last year, unless results are shown. Tick tock............

I don't know how I should feel. Another losing season would suck. :(

Well, it all depends if T-Mac can return to his old self & if Yao won't re-injure his foot while playing for China, & if they both can stay healthy for a season then we might have a chance at the playoffs, BUT these are all ifs! However, there is still NO 3rd option, NO reliable shooter(s) ( I don't count Battier), this team is still old & getting older, this team still has alot of bench warmers, & short guards, & a starting point guard that can't shoot well & defend! Way too many holes. To make matters worse this trade is just way too lopsided, & if Gay becomes ROY & an all-star in the near future, Roxs fans will just talk(groan) about this, like R. Lewis, for years! :( A quicky fix will just gut this team in a couple of years! SIGH! I'm hoping Les will think about this instead of watching his team wasting the talents of Yao & T-Mac by surrounding them with lame-o talent.

I am really wondering why people don't consider Battier a reliable shooter. Who the hell do you consider a reliable shooter if he is not?

it really doesnt matter what tmac and yao do or dont' do.

If we do not make the playoffs (another season like this) REGARDLESS of injuries ...JVG is gone. In comes someone like Larry Brown.

In someone's alternate universe, 48% FG and 40% 3 point shooting don't qualify as "reliable".

This just my opinion! Battier is not the answer! He is getting older on a team that's getting older! Do you really think that he can maintain this GREAT FG% with JVG offensive scheme? I hope I'm wrong & he will avg. 17 pts, 5-6 rbs, 2-3 steals per game! But this probably exist only in some alternate universe! I'm just venting, please don't take this the wrong way! I love my ROXs & will continue to support them as I have been for 25 yrs tru good & bad! ;)

so he's 27 turning 28. fits in the age range of tmac and yao. He can enjoy his prime here.
