Right... though relative to an individual team probably useless.

I strongly suspect a teams most successful pace has much more to do with the players on that team and what suits them than arbitrarily just pushing pace because of math.

We turned into a complete iso team half way through the season and we continued beating down everyone who came our way, so I don't know watcha you talking about bruh

 

Agree, but I think its a good thing. The Rockets tend to have problems when they are hyped.

 

I'm sorry if you don't understand what increased variance means here. The issue is that when you slow the game down like that there is more chance for an upset. Just because it didn't happen that way last year doesn't mean it won't happen. There is a reason Morey and D'Antoni kept saying they wanted us to speed up.

 

This year it really makes no sense. Coming off a 65 win season that had its fair share of injuries, I really don’t see the Rockets missing a beat especially considering they signed Ennis and about to sign Melo both for the min. Rockets still have full MLE and Anderson contract will also become more palatable to teams as the year goes on.

 

Also, Pundits are overlooking the WB effect...players who leave OKC tend to have career/comeback years.

 

Same Jason McIntyre that said we would be exposed as the Raptors of the West against the Warriors. That they would annihilate us in a sweep.

Personally, I'd rather have stuff like this in the headlines than 60+ win predictions. Makes it feel better to prove everyone wrong.

 

FYI, this is the kind of post that @Clutch needs to file away for the inevitable freezing cold takes video/post later in the year calling out all of these yahoos.
