If trading Flynn helps the T-Wolves to sign Rubio...

    McGrady + Landry + Cook → Flynn + Songaila + Q-Rich + Cardinal
*T-Wolves under cap can absorb extra salary

HORRIBLE trade, especially when we have Lowry and Brooks already

Ooh and we could pay the rest of the buyout for the Wolves also.

I haven't been keeping up, but Jackson as head coach is terrifying. Hopefully he has the knowhow to coach at least the PGs because he could ruin a lot of talent with his boneheadery.

Rubio won't play in the NBA. No mention of how the T-Wolves are going to pay his buyout, until I hear an answer to that then he stays in Europe.

He should just stay in Europe and gain experience. He is good but he could get better until his contract issues are resolved.

The T-Wolves have lined up local sposors to cover Rubio's buyout.

That's a lot of money, is that the endorsement deals he might get that I heard about or are the sponsors going to make a direct payment to Rubio's Spanish club.

Actually the answer is fairly commonly known (and mentioned in the article)

They can only pay $500,000. That's the problem. If the owner could just write a check for whatever amount the buyout is, I'm sure he would.

they can keep Flynn, and trade Rubio.....and the Chinese, Nike, etc sponsors can pay off his buyout (Lex did pay 6 million for draft picks, he probably would do it for Rubio , just one person giving a check to another ;) ).....but before we do that, we have to trade for Rudy Fernandez, Outlaw, and Webster in exchange for Shane Battier and Brian Cook, Brent Barry......By having Fernandez, this would make Rubio want to come to Houston, in order to play with his old team mate....trade Aaron, Burdinger and Wafer(sign and trade) for Rubio and Collins(sign and trade).....lineup

    Rubio- Lowry
    Webster-Fernandez/McGrady
    Ariza- Oulaw/White
    Scola- Landry/Dorsey
    Andersen-Collins/Hayes...... :D

I like your idea Rubio and Fernandez on same team would be awesome to watch plus it would give us a fresh start in rebuilding mode. Now Portland is giving up all those players so Fernandez and Outlaw are the only realistic pieces we can get for Shane. Webster is too much to ask from the Blazers.

    Great idea nonetheless.

He won't be effective for the first couple of years. Something tells me he won't be that effective but I may be wrong. I don't know how he will turn out but I think he will be very similar to CP3 or another bust

Horrible trade. We will be getting crap back. I don't even know Flynn would even be good and Q Rich is overrated. Landry by himself is probably worth more than all of them together right now.

It would take considerably more to get Rubio.

Im not to sure about that, b/c Francis was more like a 2guard in a point guards body...meanwhile Rubio is legit pure point guard with great size, and amazing court vision....... and as for Mobley, I think Fernandez is a much better athlete, with better size at 6'6 than 6'4 mobley.....but with that said I still loved the back court of Mobley and Francis, specially the way they'd played with so much passion & love for the game... :D

Jeez, if that's all T-Mac can get us in the open market I would rather hold on to him. I'm glad Morey is not like the average fan, giving away our assets for bags of peanuts.

Rubio should be able to get some endorsement deals to help him pay his buyout.
