FYI my family is immigrants and we’re doing pretty well for ourselves and we’re all voting Democratic.
So why then are Republicans so afraid of immigration and want to cut back even legal immigration?
The US is a democratic republic. The republic part doesn’t nullify the democratic part.
This is how we see Republicans get worked up over immigration ( both illegal and legal ) and claim that it’s all about Democrats wanting more...

They had no power to block anything down. It was governors who did the shut downs.
I never found Trump funny or entertaining. Even back in the 90’s I always thought he was a con man.
Dick Cheney can vote for and endorse who he wants but I personally wouldn’t want anything to do with him.
People have the right to claim anything. As so many here argue that is free speech. It’s acting upon it that’s the problem.
