It just dawned on me that Game 1 is a must win game for the Yankees, otherwise they have to beat Verlander or Cole to avoid a 3-0 hole.

The pitching changes by the Rays are breaking up Cole’s rhythm according to Girardi. This Buffoon says some inane stuff.
Man I’m not sure about this, but Chirinos has caught Cole earlier in the season and is more than capable.
Unless Cole says he’s gassed, I’m doing everything possible to let him pitch a CG. I don’t trust our pen.
