Maybe Lance more situationally, like say the back end of their order from Casty to Marsh. He just isn't a good match up for this opponent.
Sometimes. I think this is more true for pitchers who came up during JV's era. Lots of newer/more recent pitchers don't change their pitching...
It's not a true bias, I think. I think it is more that he knows the Phillies are the underdog and his emotional responses to plays by either team...
No one is saying any announcer/broadcaster/media guy/analyst has perfect takes or statements.
Agree with you. His pitching and mentality break down is the only reason to put up with his bias.
