SD will still be the LAD b!tch. If I'm a betting man I would go with ATL coming out of the NL.
The only thing I don't like about Reynolds is he strikes out a lot. Like 84 times in 315 AB this yr (27%).
Go look at what he did in the playoffs last yr against MIL, LAD and us in the WS. Tell me the trade "sucks ass".
Imagine adding Reynolds to this lineup and a healthy Brantley.
Curious what it would take to get Reynolds given he's controlled for three more yrs? Pretty steep.
Would be HUGE!!
He was pretty d@mn close however.
Hate giving up Valdez
Go get JD Martinez
It is NOT that hard. It's a mutual option. If Mancini doesn't opt in (even if HOU wants to pick it up) then it makes him a FA. If this occurs...
A mutual option means both the team and the player have to pick it up. If Mancini declines it then he's a FA.
He can walk if he declines the option (mutual option)
It's a mutual option.
Saying for "multiple pitching prospects".
Haven't seen who we traded for him?
Diaz has also played 20+ games at 1B and has seen some time in the OF as well. Kid has been a hitting machine and you're "hoping" he gets traded???
Yes misread that. Kid has been pretty impressive the last couple of months. Stepping into a closers role is a whole different thing.
Per Joel Sherman, Devin Williams, who the Padres traded for Hader. Gave up an ER on 5/10. Since then has done the following: 30 gms 28.2 IP Zero...
I'm not "worried" about anyone. However Montas has a track record of going deep into gms against Houston. Where we have a couple of guys that...
