They wouldn't, latebloomer was just desperate to be able to participate in the 2nd round draft. No way that trade ever happens. I don't blame the other guy for accepting it, but it kinda defeats the purpose of the mock draft. Maybe next year we can do a 0 trade mock draft.
Besides "latebloomer" I don't think anybody else would care if NBADraft.net made the pick for them, given that I seriously doubt anybody would even know who to pick... so I think we should head in that direction instead ... so we can go ahead and list our transactions and depth charts of our new rosters ... ...
I vote in favor of that. The amount of time this will keep taking relative to the significance makes this relatively pointless. BTW, how many point guards to the TWolves need? lol
1. 76ers (LATEBLOOMER19) John Wall 2. Twolves (The Rock MVP) Evan Turner (Traded to Pacers) 3. Hornets (Old Man Rock)-Derrick Favors 4. Nets (Hayesfan) DeMarcus Cousins 5. Hawks (Flash21) Willie Warren Disclaimer: I'm an idiot who has seen some of these guys only in a game or highlights if they didn't play for a major team or get into Tourney. But alas, I am probably as qualified as many paid to speak nonsense and rate the draft. Of those picks, I definitely like 76ers, Pacers, Hornets, Nets, and Warriors draft just because I think they each got a great player. Nets second pick I didn't like, but Cousins should be great enough to overlook this. Heat got a nice pickup in Udoh who I think could have gone as high as the 8th pick. I don't like the drafts of the Bucks, Twolves, Rockets, Pistons, and Celtics. Whiteside is a project that may never happen. Avery Bradley also fits this. Tough to trade away a guy like Turner. I will rate the Pistons the worst draft as I see the draft being about 5 players. The 5th pick should have gotten them one of the 5 guys...Wall, Turner, Cousins, Favors, Johnson. Grizzlies probably made the best trade outside of the Pacers.
Yeah, it'd be nice to setup the next thread to put our roster/assets/future moves on to, to really compare how everyone did. HayesFan wanna take over and make it?
Whatever happened to the mock draft outcome thread? Really this mock draft should have started at the end of the NBA season, last week and had members pick teams before the lottery was played. Just my opinion.
