I don't know who the #3 team was, but the previous #1 team was Mike Ditka's 1985 Chicago Bears, with Buddy Ryan as defensive coordinator, and they definitely won the Super Bowl in 1986, 52-10 over the New England Patsies, err Patriots.

I don't think you can call the Ravens D the best ever until they win the Super Bowl. But if they put up a dominating performance vs. the Giants, you have to consider them in the same class as that Bears squad.

    One other thing...

If anyone would have told me at the beginning of the season that Trent Dilfer and Kerry Collins would be squaring off against each other in the Super Bowl, I'd have thought they were insane! [IMG]

Everytime there is a two week delay the superbowl bites. If there was any year that couild prove that theory, it is this year, because both teams should play a close game. both teams lack an offense.

Personally, I think the Giants have discovered a bag of magic beans.

Well, I think it's going to be more of a defenses struggle than you think.

I'll go out on a limb and say Ravens 6, Giants 4 in overtime.

I predict it will be one of the three least-watched Super Bowls of all time.

I know the defenses are great and everything but how do you score negative points? [IMG]
