Nothing about the Astros poor season so far is Diaz's fault. Catcher's don't actually catch the ball until after it has been pitched and the hitter has had his shot at it. It's like blaming a seat belt for a car accident. It can surely help prevent death and injury from the accident, but it can't do anything about preventing the accident itself.
