Everyone likes a comeback story, KPJ is just at the beginning of building his and at only 23 years old with all star talent, he will get more chances. He is not a little better than Jalen he is a LOT better than Jalen on the basketball court......too bad he got into a fight with his GF, and was arrested, the Rockets would have been a much better team with him on it, and backing up FVV. Come on @Nook just because KPJ was mean to your ball boy buddies doesn't make him a bad guy. DD
Such a two faced dude. Ass-kissing would never have replaced work ethic, he was going to be in for a rude awakening with Ime. Try throwing soup at Udoka see what happens. People suffering from narcissistic personality disorder (he's either bipolar or PTSD too) are always teddy bears in public, predators in private. There are no evil people, it's the good hearted damaged humans that can't help but destroy things. Find out how someone treated their partners and coworkers. That's where the real info is found.
It is factually correct that he pleaded Guilty to assault and harassment of his girlfriend. He did not just "get in a fight with his GF." If you want to make your case for KPJ back then, and a rehabilitation case moving forward fine, but please stick to the facts. I thought people were being overly critical of you based on your evangelizing of KPJ prior to this incident, and spoke out about it here. But I'll not sit back, and let people FoxNews the facts just because they are a fan of his step back jumper, or whatever. The guy has no place on the Houston Rockets IMO, and has a long road to even be considered as a player I could root for.
Please, by all means state the facts. Police never interviewed Kyrse, there were only 2 in the room her and him, the police bungled the charges, and eventually settled on a misdemeanor with ZERO record. I mean Miles Bridges is back in the league….what KPJ plead too was a nothing burger. I hope the Rox sign him again. DD
Trying to think of a single thing that Kevin Porter Jr ever did better than Aaron Holiday. Other than plead guilty to assault after beating up his GF in a midtown hotel room, physically assualt the coaching staff, leaving games at halftime to drive around and be a general negative vibes embarrassment, I can't think of one. Can you?
I find domestic violence apologists to be nearly as bad as the perpetrators. Thankfully, most of them tend to keep their wife-beating views to themselves. But not you, DD. As long as the guy is good at sports, you're happy to look the other way.
In DDs world, nothing burgering means stealing someone else's food But we all know kpj is generous and giving with food, especially the soup variety and the occasional knuckle sandwich.
A guilty plea is the definition of a fact. He’s admitting that he did it to the court. Holding this position that domestic abuse is a “nothing burger” really is quite something. I guess when someone tells you who they are believe them the first time.
