First my prediction was pre [season ending] injury of S Adams....M Smart got hurt.....when Morant came back they went on a run from the bottom. Then Morant went down trying to do too much. Second Utah was good until they decided to sell. I didn't expect Beal to have back problems. Sad trading for damaged goods. I had the Pacers and Thunder higher than where most so-called experts claimed they would be. Warriors are down in the standings but I guarantee they are as good as where I predicted them to be. They are good enough to beat anybody.....including Denver. Who can truly predict injuries? The teams that usually win it all tend to be without injuries. But hey, Lakers win the LeBron invitational. Champions of the first half.
@Tuckmose Here is ESPN preseason prediction. Write them also. 1) Denver 2) Suns 3) Lakers 4) Warriors 5) Grizz 6) Clips 7) Kings 8) Thunder 9) T Wolves 10) Pels https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id...rankings-predictions-odds-ahead-opening-night I'm sure your predictions were spot on
I believe we will win out. 42-40. I predicted 44-38, but that would have been with Alpi and Tari healthy all season.
Thanks, but I prefer “basketball savant”. Kidding aside, this year was just exceedingly easy to predict. Eason ended up missing 60 games, Sengun 20 games, and KPJ 82 games since I made my first 40 win prediction. We are still likely to hit that despite terrible injury luck is a testament to the reasons why I was so confident to begin with, correctly evaluating Fvv and Sengun’s impact, Jabari’s improvement and of course the Udoka effect. I suspect the over under thread will be another fun one for next year if it comes out similar to our final record of around 40 wins, I will have more thoughts on that.
I didn’t do the poll, but I was vaguely in the mid-30s and silently laughing at the ppl who were in 40s.
I didn't predict it in this thread and I don't care enough to find it but I predicted us fighting til the end of the season just to barely miss the play in... which is a big success. I also predicted Minny would struggle and OKC wouldn't keep ascending so not exactly perfect. The other teams were about where I'd thought they'd be.
Decent chance at finishing .500. I'm more than happy with that, especially with how deep the West is. Figured 30-35 wins and would've been satisfied with that improvement.
