How is that the fault of Brown who has been here one off-season and is severely hampered by his owner and his "advisors"? The Astros' problems go much deeper than the 26-man roster and major league manager and coaches.
Astros front office looking like the Former Texans front office. Astros need a visit from Easterburry
What GM loses 4 good relievers and replaces them with a closer when they already had one? I knew this team was in trouble with that bs. I would give Dana a D- for his pathetic GM efforts. And then they keep Singleton? Who would keep him.
It starts with Crane. If Brown was only tasked to rebuild the farm it’s hard to lay all the blame on him. I wish Click had worked out.
The team that has been in the ALCS 7 times in a row, 4 World Series and 2 titles never learned to play the right way? That makes this run even more impressive.
It's a shame with the softball beer league pitching because Diaz is not a fluke and Jeremy's plate adjustments have worked.
I think the truth is that Brown is a GM in name only. Crane is the defacto GM and no one wants to blame him because of past success. But it might be that Luhnow deserves most of the credit for past success. So where does that leave Crane?
