Not exclusive to baseball. Also, teams without expectations fans aren't angry. You think tiger fans are angry? Lol
The good: 13 hits at home Every starter got at least 1 hit except Abreu. Meyers starting strong Only 7 Ks (17.5% K rate) Framber getting ground balls Taylor Scott starting strong. Hader dominant. Losing sucks but it happens 35+% to every team. Another 2-3 inches and Pena snags Cabrera's grounder in the 5th and the Yankees may not score at all. Another inch and Dubon beats the throw home to tie the game. Beats the hell out of a blowout or a game w/ an injury in it.
Espada showed in game one, why he's never gotten a chance before this season. Just utter mismangement to give a 1st year manager the keys to a team that is expected to complete for the WS.
I kinda agree with this . Rangers bring in Bochy and we bring in a novice to managing . I like Espada and hope he does well but it’s risky to bring in an unproven guy to run a “World Series or bust” team
When your choices in the pen are Martinez, Mushinski, Montero, Scott, and Bielak you are going to look like a$$ as a manager.
I really don't have a problem with the ph. That is why Singleton is here. If he succeeds it is good for us. He wins us games and ups his trade value. If he fails then he gets replaced, probably by Loperfido. I have a bigger problem with all the walks by the pitching staff.
