Houston's Ramon Walker (knee) has a "chance" to play in Friday's NCAA Tournament game against Longwood, but needs to be cleared by the team trainer, per Kelvin Sampson.
I hope the players are reading some of the "expert" bractologists. I am and they are making me furious. For one, many are focusing on the blow out game with Iowa State and not the entire season. They are making comments like "the Cougars play volleyball with the backboard" and they "can't shoot." Everybody is a basketball expert in March.
Bye, bye Kentucky! How many bracket experts had Kentucky in the final four? I saw several. Well, that dream is over.
Charles Barkley was one of the ones that picked Kentucky to reach the final 4 out of the South. Glad he picked them and not us. Can't remember the last time he got one of his picks right.
CKS said today at practice that this was the best Roberts has looked in weeks. I would assume the extra rest helped a lot.
Shead's habits will overcome his road shooting slump. No need for anyone to worry. Winners Win. Adversity is our calling card. Everyone is ready is to go today. And We are a band of brothers.
Headed to the dentist to get a long time cracked molar replaced with a crown early this morning. I don't want anything interrupting my shot of watch history. Coogs have a really solid chance to do this boys. We are in the golden age, missing one thing and one thing only. Sampson has been on a life long mission to pull this off. Tonight Longwood. Nothing else matters. Go Coogs!
Don't sleep on Longwood. They can shoot and they are big. They may be 24 point underdogs, but on the court they are fully capable of giving UH fits. Remember Kentucky and Oakland. Go Coogs, come out on fire.
Agree we should not underestimate anyone. CKS should have team ready. We are well rested. Need to come out and take control early, demoralize them and take away any hope they might have of an upset early on. If it goes as it should we will be fine.
