Seems to be but they usually slip due to position and silly warts like Lindstrom and Hamilton did. Now Bowers following suit. “He’s a top 10 talent but due to needs at positions like OT and QB Bowers will likely fall to pick 15 or further” keep reading stuff like that…
Its not a staple of the Shanahan offense. 21 is more what Slowik would want to do if he had the RBs to do it with. I suppose they could try to reinvent the wheel to accommodate a guy like Bowers, but they just shelled out top 10 TE money for Shultz. We need to apply a little deductive reasoning to our fantasy scenarios. If I were GM Im going CB pick 1, but I could also see Caserio trading down.
Jeff Okudah finally living up to his draft spot would be a great repayment for the Kevin Johnson experience.
Well yeah, the draft is a crap shot, of course they do, but we have a bigger hole to fill at that position than at TE. Also, you can never have too many DBs
If either Bowers are Thomas are there at 1-23 you pick them. (Doubtful) They're great difference making players that would give Stroud the weapons he needs to be successful. Otherwise one of DeJohn/Wiggins/McKinstry should be available at 1-23.
If there at 1-23 Bowers should be the pick. Slowik likes to run alot of 12 personnel. I doubt he's there. Give me Tip Reiman 6'5 271 lbs runs a 4.64 and is probably the best blocking TE in this draft. He's got pretty good hands too.
Because they didn't have the personnel to run a lot of 12 personnel last yr. Look at how the 49ers run their offense as a guide for what Slowik wants his offense to look like. Kittle with Woerner and Juszcyk/McCaffrey.

A ruptured patellar is no joke. If Howard makes it back, chances are he wont be as good as he was pre-injury.
