Those are just an even plainer version of the current ones. Also looks almost identical to a Pats jersey But I agree otherwise, that all these "concepts" make my eyes bleed.
Spoiler SportsLogos.net re-design contest https://news.sportslogos.net/2024/03/05/houston-texans-uniform-redesign-contest-results/football/
You should be the only one that is not allowed to post fan designs. When I seen the spoiler, I thought it was a leak.
I was in Lid’s locker room today. The cashier told me Cal McNair told all stores to stop selling Oilers apparel, it can no longer be sold in the city Houston. So they shipped it all to the Woodlands lol. New Texans stuff out next month.
Is that legal? I really don't care but I feel like if it's a breach of some sort of agreement or contract between the Titans and LID Either way, I'm here for it. Titans can go to hell.
We kinda already have a star in the logo as it is... I would love to keep our franchise's separate but with the name taken from a former Dallas' team decades ago and that star already there on the bull.... I don't see why they would keep us that much more separated, if at all, from them with additional stars on the sleeves or elsewhere for that matter. To me it's a "meh" issue.
If Amy Adams can tell UofH they can’t wear light blue, then McNair can tell a Houston Area Lids to hide all the Oilers inventory..
The better question is whether it's viable - and the answer, of course, is no. Cal McNair did not call Lids managers and tell them to stop selling Earl Campbell jerseys. Unless he owns them, he has zero control over what stores sell.
Adams/UH is a legal matter. Cal McNair did not/will not/could not tell Lids what to sell. That is made-up bullshit.
Same guy who posted the picture of the Htown blue hat that has not been released. Anyway, Memorial City Lids Locker Room, and the Lids at Willowbrook are the ones I have been to. No Oilers apparel. And this was mentioned to me by the cashier because she saw I bought a Rockets Htown blue tumblr cup,
I think the current uniforms look perfectly fine. They aren’t the most distinctive, but after 20 years or so, I’ve become accustomed to them and I’m not craving something new.
So the steel blue will be darker? I honestly don't think I could tell the difference between our steel blue and the bears blue unless they were side by side. So, to me, that's a big net zero.
Dude is obviously uninformed “Hinted” at Houston blue? It’s been confirmed for months that Houston Blue will be part of the color scheme. And steel blue is navy blue, that is absolutely not the change being made
