Those are the kind of assets I wanted him to move.

 

Like I said in another post yesterday, Someone has to be willing to give you something in return for what you are willing to give away.

It's been stated multiple times that Stone did try to trade for a 6 who would play this season but that the two sides couldn't come to an agreement on compensation.

What that means is that what Stone was offering (Bullock & Landale) wasn't enough to complete the deal.

I'd rather keep that "other asset" (likely a 2nd round pick) than give it away for a dude that's not going to be here beyond the end of this season.

 

You are basically saying I consider these players as trash but I am mad that he didn't convince others to take then off our hands and give us not trash. I am sure stone wasn't turning down offers left and right for landale

Nerlens doesn't move the needle at all. As bad as Landale is, we might as well use him.
