All I am going for is that he is the catalyst that will markedly improve the team and make us an attractive destination for free agents.

Rockets clears up all this cap space to use it to their advantage and then people are mad when it is one of the determining factors to pull FVV away from Raptors lol
FVV is a better three point shooter and by far better free throw shooter compared to KPJ career wise. He had a down year but I doubt we are losing any shooting with the change.
It was probably because he didn't have the right person passing him the ball, I'm told that's how it works when players miss shots.
Sure, but they won't trade a good pick. Typically, sign and trade deals involve the receiving team sending out assets. Usually, it's done to retain access to the full compliment of exceptions.
You and me both. This is good for the team. People looking at the dollar figures aren’t paying attention to where this team is at. These are good players that are culture setters. More wins will be attached as well. The young guys just aren’t ready to be leaders, or win; they just don’t know how. Their games need to mature and what better way than to add a good coach, winning players to show them the way and more time.
Like a lot others are saying, FVV is a nice addition - but man, that is a lot of money for him. That extra year really tilts this into a seemingly bad deal. With that said, I'm hoping this will be a difference maker in our culture, and thankfully, we did not overpay for Kuzma - so there's that.
Sucks for the overpay but Rockets have a crap load of cap space to use. Might as well give it to a vet to teach these young kids how to be winners. I'd rather overpay for Harden but VanFleece will make these kids better. Rumors is Rockets still paying Matt Maloney and Kelvin Cato...
