you're a homer by nature who can't see anything outside of that. that basically the worse kind of fanatic. but don't worry you'll get a reality check soon
Good lord. Came here looking for legit matchup analysis and found a thread full of bickering more befitting overly hormonal teenage boys. Some of you could use a break.
Rooting against them nah. I just know what's realistic. That's something you have a huge issue with. nobody gives af about your pure homerism. But when you act like that attitude is all or nothing that's when it gets stupid af. And yeah that'll get you to where it is now. You derserve all the reality check you're gonna get. dont try to post the loudest and come back and cry foul
LOL - I'm really getting under your skin. You have no subtlety or sophistication to your game. Rockets will win AND you will like it.
What if I told you that the Rockets are the better rebounding team and defensive team, and that they block more shots and steal more balls? Would you believe me? Or would you keep trying to find anecdotal reasons as to why the good guys cant win? We have the #1 killer in the basketball world on this team right now. Looking great, and hitting the playoffs at the perfect time with everything in his arsenal at his disposal. The peripheral players will show up once they see how great James is leading them. We have a roster than runs 8 to 9 guys that can hit double figures in scoring on any given night and a much deeper roster IMO while OKC runs about 6 or 7 deep so MDA has the luxury of playing matchups more so than Donovan. I expect the ROX to run Adams off the court and handicap what OKC likes to do from the get go.
I'm not a stats guru but I just quickly looked up their team and stats and they have 4 players averaging over 17ppg. That's pretty impressive. Yes the Rockets have the Star power in Harden and Westbrook... but the Thunder seem to have more well rounded scorers. All I'm saying is the Thunder could push this to 7 games if the Rockets aren't hitting shots like they need to. Also not to beat a dead horse but Covington and Tucker have been non existent from 3 point range and we depend on those guys heavy for 3s... So yeah get your popcorn ready.
Are you hearing that Westbrook will play or just assuming? I'm waiting to hear the results of the Luguentz Dort injury.
If Russ were fully healthy from Game 1, this would be a 5 game series, 6 tops. With him out, I think it's going 7 and could go either way. I still lean towards Rockets but just barely.
The biggest concern for me is that it will be easy to double James unless his teammates start making shots. Harden will somehow get his, but he is going to be worn down by the constant double teams on the perimeter and the triple teams create in the paint when another man comes and helps. If Gordon can get his head out of his ass and somewhat play the Westbrook role of driving to the basket and finishing, then this series should not be as difficult as it will be if he doesn't get his head out of his ass.
