Tilman has to be loving his life right now. Overpaid significantly for a NBA team at the historical peak of the economy and then had his GM kill a huge portion of the team's revenue by rightfully shi**ng on China less than two years later...and now this. Good thing his fortune is based on his ownership of crappy chain restaurants and a couple of casinos...oh wait.
Can we trade for Mark Cuban as the owner? Every time I read Tillman's name, there's such a wave of disappointment, even before Coronavirus. My Rockets fandom is at an all time low. The idea of his kids taking over is as depressing as having Trump trying to be president. They're the same disappointing failure, exposed when times get challenging. Unfortunately, we can't vote Tillman out. God, if only.
what if tillmen's kids turn out to be nothing like their dad and became great owners? it's a possibility, altho maybe less than 0.01% but still a possibility
That would imply that his kids would not use the same business model their father has. Are his kids entrepreneurs that are investing their money elsewhere and will have their own wealth to sustain the Rockets in case their father's crippling debt eventually forces him into bankruptcy?
that's not really considered a possibility. that's a prayer plus a hallelujah miracle w/ pigs flying over us lol
Great suggestions for restarting each league. including: Each NBA player on court will have his own basketball. Each MLB defensive player will be required to wear two baseball gloves.
And all players in every sport have to be drenched in “virus killing disinfectant,” and it has to be “ beautiful” (someone’s favorite word, I’ve forgotten who that is, or am trying to) before stepping on to the court, or the field, or whatever.
