Any idea what this could be? I’m fascinated and skeptical at the same time. What’re the odds it’s just some attention-seeking BS?
Yeah...I guess so. I thought Lima Time was associated with Astros County (and therefore more likely to be legit), but it looks like he’s just teasing for clout.
This was one of the replies to the tweet claiming that Altuve, Trout, Story and other superstars will be implicated in something today. Looks like he might just be trying to prove a point about how you can put anything out there and it can/will gain traction as being legitimate.

The one in the other thread that while correct on general notion that McHugh might not be that good right now, but is incorrect about the why ("elite" curveball got smacked around last season, fastball velocity loss is more like 2-2.5 instead of the "5-7" mph).
Some of you are so desperate for a crumb of scandal outside of the Astros you’ll believe a comedian lol. Pathetic. Get over it and let’s talk about the damn team already
Interesting. Would not be surprised if this happens after 1 season. Hinch's interview being part 1 of many of the season long PR campaign to repair his reputation.
He struggled to break 90 last year. He had a ton of life on his fastball when he was first called up. As far as the curveball, that has always been his plus pitch. I was unaware of how far it had fallen last year, but at the same time if that was due to his arm issues, he has a better chance of that coming back vs the cement mixing slider that he’s had on/off feel for and wasn’t throwing prior to 2017.
McHugh has never struggled to break 95-97 mph. His best season for fastball velocity, he struggled to break 92.5 mph. I agree it looks like he's lost some movement on it. On the curve, it performed okay in 2018, but it hasn't been plus since maybe 2015.
How much say will Dusty have on the All Star team roster, I know the rules have changed on that? No Astro will even sniff winning the fan ballot, if Dusty doesn’t have much say as the AL Manager, we will likely just get the one guaranteed spot this year
