No point. The Spurs had calls and no calls against them to such as the Westbrook no call backcourt violation at the end of the half that led to the Chandler ally-oop.
Shall we write an email and create a petition to request to give back the win to Houston rockets? If the refs is unfair to make the players lose the morale how to continue to play ? It makes the audience very angry.
Well, he had that 'concussion' series against the Spurs as well in 2017. This would still be on the record.
IF this game is the difference in seeding . .. . .. then it is a major issue ESP if it is the difference between 4 and 5 Rocket River
Being quiet and professional about it . . . . WILL GET THEM NOTHING!!! There will be no . .. our bad we got you next time .. . . never has been . . never will been will be BOHICA in the playoffs This did not cost the Rockets the game. . . . but the myraid of other sh*tty calls as well This was just the most WTF Rocket River
Amen. Fans on twitter will always bash the Rockets. Public opinion of the Rockets should have no bearing on the front office fighting the legacy of Tim Donaghy.
Some of you all are way too emotional. Lol. Yes we didn't deserve the win, that doesn't mean we don't protest this. This was a serious **** up by the refs and since the game ended in a tie at the end of regulation, then the 2 points actually made a difference. The game should restart after Harden made that dunk and let it play out again. I'll be pissed if the Rockets organization did not protest. I don't care about what we deserve, ultimately we are fighting for seeding in this conference and every win matters. You knuckleheads should know better after the difference it made last year. No one has anyway of predicting how the team would of reacted after that dunk. Maybe this got them out of their game? If you guys think that makes us mentally weak, I don't care, I still want the win. I care about hopefully competing for the title, so what bugs the rest of NBA world, I don't care lol.
In hindsight (considering we lost anyway) MDA should have pulled the team from the game from that point on. Just go to the locker room. Don't resume play until the basket is counted.
Esp since that was not the only bad call there were a ton of bad calls in the 4th I admit DanAndToni playing everyone the whole 4th did not help but at the end .. .we got jobbed. . . . again Rocket River
Don't understand how they can change a 3 to a 2 if a player steps on the line but couldn't review that dunk??? Smh
This was a horribly egregious blown call. The worst part though isn't the missed call, it's the horribly dishonest way that the head official handed it after the fact. If you believe Mike D'Antoni, the officials gave him two different explanations for why it was not a basket, both being reviewable and Dantoni told them both times he wanted to challenge that call. They basically ignored him and made them play on and then neither of those explanations is what the "official" ruling was. They told D'Antoni first it was offensive interference and then that it was out of bounds (lol?) but in reality they just ruled it a missed basket. They then LIED after the game saying no one asked for a review in time even though there is video evidence of Dantoni asking for a review immediately (within seconds) and the official then says basically "I don't remember what I told the coach" lol come on. On principal alone the game should be restarted because something as egregious as this shouldn't be allowed to stand. That said, the blown call didn't cost them the game. They got a stop and Harden hit a 3 on the next possession and THEN the Rockets melted down. It was 105-93 at the 6:37 mark a full minute later. Then Westbrook had like 4 turnovers and three missed shots in the next 2 two minutes, and Harden missed like 4 times in the final minute trying to get the win.
ONE LAST THING: There is not columns for DESERVED WINS and DESERVED LOSSES Because I promise . . . . every championship team in the history of sports have some of those DESERVED LOSSES than they got wins for. Rocket River #TheTuckRule
