@pippendagimp and @DreamShook Which one of your mothers wears combat boots? It's about time we got that update....
As many others have mentioned , good chance for Maclemore to step up . Also , guys like Clark and Celmons could get a shot at minutes if Mac isnt working out. Neither will play the 2-3 that green does, but other guys can be shuffled around.
Going to be hard to duck the tax this year? Good. Looking forward to Morey doing something at the trade deadline other than duck the tax. As I recall, we're supposed to be in win-now mode.
Don't think of it as Gerald Green having a broken foot. Think of it as the foot having a healthy Gerald Green.
Ladies. . . Ladies. . .break it up Going into road rage over an announcement over Gerald's FOOT??!! Now, apologize and GO TO YOUR ROOMS!
I now its crazy n bad to say. This might be a good injury. We know what green is n bring. We have plenty of depth there. McLemore house so not even concerned. Wanna mac get more burn in the meantime
You started whining in post #8 of this thread. If you didnt like his post, you could have ignored it and moved on. Yet, you started that post by whining. And I have to agree with pippndagimp in this instance. Rockets organization does not exactly have a great track record when it comes to evaluating and disclosing player injuries.
Of course @Zboy with a base b**** level over 9000 would interject. Nobody asked you. take the cape off and stfu.
The rockets have no obligation to provide up to the minute updates on players health. This is being handled exactly the same way Anthony Davis' current injury is being handled by the Lakers. The team believes it's one thing, the player is going to be reexamined, and it's being communicated to us through Shams at the Athletic. Every team reports on injuries like this. Did the Warriors have a press conference set up outside the MRI room when Klay got injured or something? This is like people that are obsessed with celebrities demanding to see their baby's pictures as soon as they're born. I don't care if you are president of their fan club and watch all of their movies, they don't owe you that. Yeah I get it, we're all fanatics obsessed with the same basketball team, but if you're F5'ing for updates on Gerald Green's foot you need a life. A player possibly, not even definitively yet, broke his foot and you guys are using that to bash the rockets. Freaking unreal.
I love Gerald Green and I'll be wishing him a speedy recovery but I don't think this hurts the Rockets. McLemore has looked like a younger, better Gerald Green. This will give him a chance to secure that role and we could use someone younger moving forward.
Ironic. Piling on about a whining accusation and then preaching that you could've let it go and posted nothing. Nice work.
