nah, no GOP balls in the Senate like Watergate, no independent integrity or eloquent orators on either side, no Barbara Jordan or Sam Irvin. It's 2020 or nothing
I completely agree with your post. McConnell is utterly corrupt. This could lead to trump's impeachment, however, before 2020. It could also lead to the GOP losing the Senate in 2020. I think they will. This scandal will result in prison for Mr trump, in my humble opinion. It may take time, but wait and see.
The House could impeach Trump on just what Trump and Rudy have said publicly. No need for the whistle blower to be made public.
What’s good for trump is good for the country. I don’t know why you people even worry about the constitution, law, and such things.
The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Trump did, in fact, repeatedly pressure Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky to begin an investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter. In fact, the Journal’s source said that Trump repeated this demand “about eight times.”
Holy ****. Maybe Two Scoops and his Fox Friends haven't spent enough time running down WSJ. It may be too late, but this is a lot of smoke on this story at this point, from multiple outlets. edit: and how much does this help Biden in the Dem primary? I think a lot. Just in sympathy alone, but definitely in terms of the left's reaction to Trump's every breath, thought, and move at this point.
So this is the big one? Ok if this doesn't pan out will you promise to stfu for the rest of his Presidency? No you won’t, you will be right there for the next one.
So he wanted the Ukraine to investigate the shady dealings that the Bidens had with the Ukraine and get back with him? Omg this is terrible.
We agree. It is terrible, to extort a foreign government to dig/create dirt on your political opponent.
If hypothetical president HRC used the threat of withholding an already approved aid package to extort a foreign power to dig up dirt on her main republican opponent in 2020, would your reaction be the same?
No evidence of extortion at this point is there? I guess we’ve already forgot the history of the dossier used to investigate Trump/Russia collusion and don’t get me started on that weasel Schiff who you can bet is behind all this.
1. Ask for evidence when person of interest reportedly withheld huge funding package while making very odd and specific political requests of a foreign government. 2. Mention Steele dossier, much of which has, (alarmingly), been verified. 3. Wildly suggest "weasel" Schiff has set up some sort of Ukranian trap for super stable genius POTUS, while ignoring Rudy G has basically admitted knowledge and involvement in the blunder already. This is going well.
That settles it, this is the big one. My apologies. Btw, do you even care about the ties the Bidens had to the Ukraine, or was it “just business” and the wrong party?
When it's used to extort other countries, no it's not interesting or even legal at that point. Do it through the appropriate channels...
I had to revisit you on this . 1. “Reportedly” is your first mistake. 2. So ends justify the means? if so then if they do “verify’ shady doings by the Bidens then you’re cool with it. 3. He is the head of the intelligence committee and the weasel that he is, you don’t think after the egg thats been on his face he hasn’t been busy conjuring up anything he can make an issue?
Again, everyones jumping to the conclusions. This a week after the Kavanaugh fiasco. It’s a constant and it’s very exhausting.
