Just because you respect someone doesn't mean you want to live with them. I respect his game, everyone does, that just isn't the issue.
Sure why the hell not. We’d have the best WR group in the history of the league. If we’re going all in on offense let’s really go all in. Sign AB and trade for Gordon too.
Damn it! Is this going to be Brady to Moss 2.0? We saw what happened the last time Tom Brady had a legitimate #1 receiver. They almost went undefeated before a miracle catch in the super bowl against the Giants.
Gordon, Edelman, AB. Brady is going to have 5k yards and 50 TDs. Mike Mayock should be fired for conduct detrimental to the NFL. AB got 15 mil too.
We would have never went for AB, our organization isn't designed to handle people like him. Hell we couldn't even handle Duane Brown's unhappiness, u think we will b able to accommodate someone like this man?
Drew Rosenhaus- red flag. AB is a smart man, he would never go from a NFL team that is loved by rogue people to another prison team. How fitting he is wearing red, white and blue. Even if AB comes to Texans, he may play 1 game and collect 15 games of paychecks on IL with a make up injury. Don't trust Rosenhaus, ask Manziel.
LOL. Of course he goes to the Patriots. They give him 9M guaranteed. And it will work out perfectly. So, chances of a lockout with the expiration of the current CBA are what? 1000%? EDIT: Tinfoil on/ Since he's a Rosenhaus client (same agent T.O. had during his bullshit.), and the Pats not only didn't put him on a week to week contract, but gave him 9 million up front: any chance this whole thing was completely manufactured by AB and his people to get him out of Oakland and to the team he wanted? I mean, I have an ad agency on call to whip together a longform commercial that looked like something from Nike during the Shawne Merriman era, don't you? The other 30 or so owners aren't going to tolerate being the farm teams for a few chosen FA and want-to-be-FA's destinations. As well as watching their league turn into the NBA re player mobility and power.
He wasn’t great last year. I’ve seen quite a few leagues where he was on waivers. 4 pts per TD leagues. 10 team leagues. He was a late draft pick in some 12 teams. Etc. NE was expected to be more run heavy this year.
Patriots get one of the best receivers for $9mil. The Texans pay Seattle $7mil in order to take one of the best edge rushers off their hands. BOB seems to be getting further and further away from the Patriots way as time passes
