Why is anyone fans of this team? What has transpired in the last 5-10 years thinking they will bring you anything but aggravation?
Despite having no expectations for this team and expecting general incompetence, the Texans have somehow managed to disappoint me. Truly impressive. Who knew we’d yearn for the days of Rick Smith.
Does john mcclain know who Aaron Wilson is? Probably not since mcclain is nothing more than a fat piece of f'n bs!
As someone posted above, you couldn't even pull this trade off in Madden, the computer wouldn't let you unless you used override. That's how bad this trade is.
Lol who is the one vote who liked this trade ! Love my Houston teams but almost embarrassed today to say I’m a Texans fan !!!!!
I've been having problems with my modem/router all night and day. I just get it sorted out and see for the first time that a Clowney trade was completed.. Now I'm scared to read the thread to see what happened. Crossing fingers and hoping to not start drinking again. Here I go, page 1...
I knew that preseason promo of Watson huffing spray paint was a bad sign for this year Can we get Obrien's head with paint on him shopped on this pic
We’ve gone without a head coach for a number of years and have multiple playoff appearances to show for it, so you can understand why they might have thought it could work.
Let's put this horrible deal in perspective. Yes, the Texans blew it in every respect: timing, strategy, return, execution. BUT, Clowney has suddenly become a GREAT young player, perpetual pro bowler, one in million athlete, etc. Whoa. Let's not forget about the frequently injured Clowney, the not always motivated Clowney, the sometimes lazy Clowney. The Texans blew this one, but all the praise Clowney is getting now is not warranted. Overall, he has been a disappointment and NOT WORTH the huge money he was demanding.
There's a lot to cheer for on this club. J.J. Watt is the best defensive lineman since Reggie White. Watson was the most electrifying player in his first seven games since...anyone, really. Hopkins is consistently one of the top 3 receivers in the league. McKinney is one of the league's best linebackers. It's a team that largely stays off the police blotters and TMZ. Watt had one of the biggest charitable movements from a sports star since Roberto Clemente. The Texans are a team you can feel good about cheering for. And they are chained to a managment team that will doom them to year after year of being unprepared, listless, uninspired, and losing. It is infuriating.
Pretty sure BoB traded for linebackers to prove a point. Losing a linebacker and not a defensive end. 2 linebackers for 1 linebacker. Great deal, Brian. Or he just said yes to the next deal so he doesnt have to answer questions at the podium
What did you expect? You didn’t get railroaded, you got “TEXANED”! Get used to it... if the first 5 times you see someone and they **** you in the ***, you can count on getting *** raped the 6th time too. Count on a strong Clowney hit piece to come out through “anonymous sources”.
I would say that “gushing GM” is from the Texans, but then I remembered we don’t have a GM! So my second guess is the Seahawks GM.
