Chris Paul is a consummate professional for doing all he can to stay healthy and maximizing performance. I am glad that he is a Rocket.
I'm not happy about this... Arian Foster went vegan, tore his achilles. Kyrie Irving went vegan and has been battling even more injuries prior to becoming one. I don't know man. Unless LeBron recommended this, I can't see it being helpful.
Doing all he can to stay healthy and maximize performance? Or Doing all he can to stuff his pockets with more money? He invested into a plant based food company called Beyond Meat https://www.forbes.com/sites/shlomo...-based-food-company-beyond-meat/#4cf810ee6dd9 This article even promoted his business "He had stepped away for a place on nearby picnic tables, surrounded by his large family, munching on a plant-based burger from one of the event’s sponsors, Beyond Meat" In my opinion, poor journalism to not mention that the sponsor is Chris Paul's business venture.
Just become skinny Chris holy ****. John Stockton had a performance bicyclist physique in the late 90s absolutely ******** on everybody while at prostate exam age. Reggie Miller had the definition of a coat hanger was a KILLER in the playoff until the day he retired. Even Jamal Crawford still has hiss quickness today and hes skinny af.
Wait I though he was already vegan? Any who...Beyond meat isn't for vegans btw. It's trying to be for everyone but yea it should be great for him. I know I felt better when I went Plant based.
I’m not sure I’d necessarily call Beyond Meat healthy (other than their stock price post-IPO...Jesus), but lots of athletes like Kyrie, DeAndre Jordan, DeAndre Hopkins, Dennis Smith Jr., Oladipo, etc. are on their bandwagon. CP3, D. Jordan, and Kyrie are also investors in the company. I read an article about these guys preaching about the company a few months ago. Most ppl that try it either like it or say it’s not bad, but like I said, I’m still not convinced of the term “healthy” when describing it yet.
I respect the fact that he keeps it professional both in and out of the court, but hes declining now and if rockets cant get jimmy i dont see rockets winning a chip with his 40 mill per year contract, thx for screwing us over morey and company. Seriously morey need to hire a financial adviser im tired of him giving out bad contracts.
How is Beyond not geared toward vegans? It’s vegetable based protein (soy and pea) and has no animal products. All products are toward “everyone”...the hope is everyone makes the choice to buy it.
Because that’s not who they are branding their product towards. They want to change the future of meat consumption. They are trying to fundamentally change the global meat consumption market.
