Serious note though, did we do this for Republicans last time? Every person who announced got a thread? There may be 30 Democrats who announce a run for president. Maybe an "[Official] Democrats who are running..." thread and then we can post all of these random mayors and baristas that want to run? I don't know, just seems a little wild how many we'll have. If you are starting this thread are you stumping for him? Or just announcing the news. Edit: This was just me ribbing all of these people running I'm not trying to suggest anyone change their posting style. Lord knows I'm not someone that believes in one universal thread for all updates. See Anthony, Melo, Car.
Former mayor of South Bend, Indiana, IIRC. Was well-liked and received there; we'll see how that translates.
The clown train effect. I actually like it. Allow me to ignore 95% of these threads and avoid the issue of a single thread from going rogue into some side debate about candidate x for 20 pages.
and some of these guys are going to rise to the top, others will fall by the wayside. easier to access info on a specific candidate than all in one thread. kinda like specific game threads in the GARM
Agree with the need to reach out to all states, all people, not just "the base". But I think he is wrong about being the first Democrat candidate appearing on fox news... Amy Klobuchar was on fox with Brett Baier:
Mayor Pete. I like the cut of his jib. Would not be surprised if he takes the Beto lane who is starting to come off as a bit a poser. I think he a bit too young but he might just have "it"
