When I was young, I could smoke without drinking, but if I drank, had to smoke. Now, I can drink without smoking, but I think if I smoked, I'd probably have to have a drink. This rings true to me, some comedian I can't remember summarizing the state of his family reunion: "Everyone under 30 was high. Everyone over 40 was drunk. Everyone between thirty and forty were high and drunk."
Might drink a beer or two and then i'm through. As far as getting drunk I have to get that out of my system every 6 years or so. I'm on year 3. Never smoked weed. We get random drug test at work and I can not afford to lose my job.
I have some pints when I play trivia once a week at a pub downtown, but I used to drink more often when I was younger. Prefer medicinal herbs most of the time, and have since 1966. It's part of Nature. Gaia writ small.
