Ingram's seems light for: starting it by pushing Harden unprovoked, getting in the refs face and then coming in and throwing a punch once folks are being separated.
Too light for Ingram, who should have gotten at least 5. Don't have a problem with 3 for Rondo, but Chris shouldn't have received more than a one game suspension, in my opinion.
Lakers trying to go fake news when the video conclusively shows him spit on him. Spitting on someone is sorta that threshold you dont cross. If I was cp3 I would have done the same. The only for rondo to get out of it is to own up and apologize 'heat of the moment' type stuff. He wont though this is what desperation looks like. This will be a tough year for lakers but they add another piece and they will be good. In meantime we will see lots of acting out like this. Lebron should own it too and condemn his teammate. Also who was brandon ingram trying to punch? What a b****. I dont know about you but dude lost some major cool points with me coming in with some bull like that what a loser.
None of that suspension makes sense. So you're telling me Rondo barely did more than Paul? Not even touching on BI's rubbish suspension. The overreaction and shove for no reason, leading into getting the Kobe treatment from the official of being in his face with no recourse, to running and superman punching a guy who wasn't even looking at him. Ok NBA, ok. I mean I should've learned a long time ago you don't do things by common sense.
In life it is not what happens but how one reacts. Paul didn’t strike till he was assaulted but he did place his hand in another person’s face and push. (Chicken Egg). Goodness, is it wrong to fell for LaBron? He is going to live with those two for the next few months and that is his best friend. I hope LBJ just kick both their asses behind closed doors. This may very well divide the Lakers. Why does Hill have a platform to say such silliness? Do you really believe this is how she really thinks? If so no wonder the world is the way it is.
Not sure which is better: Mike D"Antoni's "Some spit was thrown" or the thread title "The Spit". The spit thrown 'round the world!
That punk#### Rondo was the first run into the locker room! He did a Roberto Duran and said "NO MAS!!!" ... ....... ....... .......
God, i wish Paul would sent Rondo to the hospital for brain damage after that spit. Who the F does that kind of crap. Extremely disrespectful. Anyone would go berserk after being spit on. Paul should have not gotten no even gotten 1 day suspension.
A leader wouldn't allow someone to spit in his face. Chris Paul didn't punch the guy, he pushed his face (in this case the weapon spitting at him) away with his FINGER. I know if someone spit at me at the very least I'd grab their face and shove it away. You can't ask Chris Paul to be Gandhi, and neither can the NBA. I don't think he did anything wrong.
Just taking a wild guess that if CP hadn't pushed Rondo's face, our 3-point loss tonight would have been a win. But, hey, who cares about that, when you can get in a couple of good licks?
Not entirely, I saw him poking the eye area of Rondo with the finger and reacted to the cussing by using provocation himself. (pushing looks different) Both players lost it, Rondo being the 2nd instigator next to Ingram because he was losing the game and he clearly hated CP, was frustrated. While I would defend Chris Paul's action, recognize this as a pretty severe situation. The suspension letter said it.
