I mean he said it’s not ideal. And yeah I guess you’re right it’s “messed up” but teams will always always do what’s best for them so he’s just doing what’s best for him.

Some interesting names still out there. I wonder how many of these guys will find themselves out of the league.
He's got that old man game down. Plus he's one of my all-time favorite players so I'd buy his jersey for sure but that's just my personal wants. I do think he'd be a great end of the bench guy though and injury insurance.
Lucas Nogueria, Wright, Larkin, Connaughton are the only UFA’s I’d want from that list. Would love Harrell back somehow, and Hood would be a nice addition too, just don’t see how we could possibly get either unless we plan!on dipping below the hard cap so we could do a S&T or full MLE.
That MLE can go four ways I guess......if Melo doesn't mind; he's already getting p-a-y-d paid by OKC
That he's going to be with the Rockets training camp yes, i already read that somewhere weeks ago, they gave him the chance since he was supposed to play in summer league but got injured and couldn't play there. With that said, sure, he'll try to get a guaranteed deal, i don't think he'll get it though.
I feel like when most guys are waived there a provision that says the team doing the waiving pays whatever the agreed upon amount was LESS whatever said player might get paid by any team that picks him up going forward. I guess not always... but seems often to be the case.
I'd take a flyer on him (Len) for sure. How do you gauge the Suns effect on him... as much as anything the coaching carousel? I mean clearly a top 5 bust, he's 24 and would have been better by now if he was better. But he was great from an advanced stats perspective last year. Finally became an efficient scorer and in his relatively limited minutes put up some stats. His per 100 possession stats make him like 80% of what Capela gave you. Obviously not that useful to look at, but point being he might now be at the mid 20's stage where he is what he is, but what that is is a big that can give you 20 mpg, and on a winning team in the right system, it be 20 minutes that contributes to winning.
