I just read this entire page as i started the last episode of this season. How's that for anticlimactic ?? lol
And baffling/out of character. That transition is incredibly unearned as are many of the shows narratives. If the show continues it’s cycle of “community wars” then it’s viewership will tank even more next season until they are forced to pull the plug in a unceremonious fashion which would be a shame. The studio needs to listen to the outside voices and fire the show runners immediately and install a team who can pitch and deliver an end game for Ricks story.
Nothing really. Carl died from a bite. The war between Negan and Rick continued regardless and Rick tried to kill Negan (after Eugene turned on Negan) and then inexplicably Rick decides to save Negan and hold him as prisoner for next season. That’s season 8. A whole three sentences.
Spoiler: Who is leaving next season? http://collider.com/andrew-lincoln-leaving-walking-dead-season-9/#images
wow, this show is dead...they need to wrap it up I still haven’t watched the S7 finale I gave up on FTWD too this show used to be great, it’s a shame what happened to it...the quality just took a nosedive
For future reference, the spoiler is pretty worthless when the answer is in the link address right below it.
Loved Herschel. RIP indeed. This used to be one of my favorite shows on television. However, I only made it through (I think it was Season 7) when they had to fight in that junkyard pit because of those people who spoke strangely. I just couldn't handle it anymore so I stopped. Sounds like I haven't missed anything since. It's a shame but really not sure how you keep a zombie show going forever...especially since you have to kill off characters as you move along...after a while you just run out of story lines and characters.
Why does every pic of them look like they are advertising a new Fall clothing line for the post-apocalyptic world? Even the tease commercials advertising the return of the show felt like a L.L. Bean commercial. "We're back and we shop at the abandoned mall for clothes now."
Was really thinking the opener for a new season wouldn't have my usual fast forwarding through 20 odd minutes of trash dialogue. Boy was I wrong.
Misleading. People don't watch TV the same. Streaming has taken the numbers from most TV. Only thing that has had a relative slow decline is live sports.
You're missing out. The last few seasons has elevated the show over Breaking Bad and the first season of True Detective.
