she low key hates Harden for sure. she was also not convinced about Harden's MVP case...**** that BIATCH
Dumbass? Man you really shouldn't be posting on the internet. The rules are clear and just watch the damn video where the ref who is vastly more qualified than you says its not traveling and goes into great detail why it's not. So yeah keep being a massive douche and insult people who are actually just relying on information far more reliable than you god damn ****ing opinion. Go **** yourself.
I've seen her do pro harden stuff, so I don't think she has much skin in the game other than to sell what the producers are piping into her earpiece. Byron wouldn't say whatever was on the prompter if it was about a laker. She's the mainstream media of fake sports takes... Plays both sides from time to time to appear moderate. "People are saying on Twitter..."
you don't start counting steps on the last dribble or even the last bounce of the ball but you only count the steps after player secures the ball either by putting his hand underneath it or hold it with both hands
You insulted me so it's coming right back at you. If you read my posts you would see I never even said it was a travel. I said if the refs call it a travel then it is. If they don't then it's not. It's a judgement call that could change any time. Debating it is dumb. Getting mad at the national media or fans on a forum for having the audacity to question it is even dumber. Feel free to have the last word and throw the first and last insult. I'm done with the conversation.
Thats the reason why it looks like a travel sometimes. Thank You for explaining that this is what people need to understand
Wow, considering he's Harden's number 1 fan, you hate to see what he says about his least favorite player
Out of Bounds talk about if Harden is traveling. One thing that is interesting Gilbert brings some insight on why Harden doesn't get called for traveling at all when he does his step back: Harden has probably demonstrated the move for NBA refs during scrimmages. Harden has already asked if his move is legal and NBA refs have said it is legal. Harden knows the rules.
We don't even need to speculate about it. The official NBA Refs twitter account has said that Harden's step back is not a travel. Of course, that doesn't mean he doesn't occasionally mess up the timing which can be seen if someone zooms in and slows down the video to a frame-by-frame analysis. The problem is that human beings cannot make those distinctions in real time, so refs will err on the side of giving the offensive player the benefit of the doubt. Everyone who is convinced that Harden travels every time needs to go through the exercise of scrutinizing every play they think he traveled on frame by frame and see if they were correct or not. The vast majority of the time -- they will be WRONG. One thing I can envision the league doing in the future is allowing replay on step back made jumpers that look questionable in the next dead ball. If it turns out they missed a travel, they would just erase the basket and have the play be recorded as a traveling violation. If its still inconclusive after replay, then the basket stands. That would be a far better solution than just overreacting and calling legitimate plays travels because fans/media who don't know better are whining about it.
LOL if he never get called for travels then they're not travels accoring to how the rules are currently written "harden's destroying the nba" peeps like you can just hope and pray that the league spends the whole summer to change the rules again so you can have your wish
You stated the rule a little earlier in the thread. So, how many steps did Harden take after putting both hands on the ball or his hand going under the ball on this play in question -- 2 or 3? Like I said, the NBA refs should not call this travel in real time if they can't be certain that it is a travel. For a play like the above, that would have been impossible. A no-call was therefore absolutely appropriate. Your argument is different. You want to actually deny that a travel even took place even with the benefit of a slow motion replay. Maybe you think that stance gives you some kind of credibility among people on this forum, but to anyone on the outside you would look like a homer who is either blind or is unable to count to 3.
first before you start counting steps first decide when or at which point of the move to begin counting steps.. when do you believe does his gather step occur based on the rules on when a play gathers the ball? at how may seconds in the video?
LOL when is his gather step? how can you count the steps if you don't know when to start? so you admit you don't know how to determine his gather step.. that's the first thing referees determine before they count someones steps..
That you continue to deflect without answering the question I posed first speaks volumes. To answer your question about “gather step” — just learn from the official source: http://videorulebook.nba.com/archiv...layer-takes-3-steps-after-gathering-the-ball/
so at what part of that video did the gather step occur for you? at how may seconds in the video did the gather step occur? you can't accurately provide it?
