The Jazz’s entire defensive scheme tonight was designed around getting the ball out of Hardens hands. If Harden isn’t MVP level, Gordon doesn’t get wide open 3’s, CP3 isn’t as free to find the open man, Capela isn’t getting lob dunks, and we don’t even get CP3 in the offseason. CP3 is great, but he’s not James Harden... by a long shot. The lack of respect this guy gets on a daily basis by this fan base is embarrassing.
I'm new around here, but even I can see that OP likes to start controversial threads for the attention. This level of attention whoring is not a character flaw. It is a brain wiring response to early developmental trauma caused by neglect. It's probably safe to assume that OP has daddy issues and uses the sub as a way of lashing out anonymously while fueling his brain with dopamine to fill the void left by his father.
We need both to win. Harden was unreal himself a little earlier, he's just not 100% right now. Tbh do you really want those 2 to have a power struggle in the middle of the season? Don't mess with the Chemistry dude.
I am not really sure what this thread means. Harden and CP3 are interchangeable - their games are very similar - it's nonsensical to think you build around one or the other. OP, has it ever occurred to you that the reason CP3 is fitting in so well is because this team was built around a triple threat point guard already?
lmao, then how do you explain that in the last few games we tend to go on a huge run whenever Harden's ass is stuck on the bench?
then Harden shouldn't be playing because his defense was embarrassing tonight and he's not shooting the ball well enough to be a net positive on the court
Agreed! I've never blocked anyone on here. But it seems like there's a first time for everything! But seriously... What are you talking about? Such nonsense. This team is already built. And it was built around Harden. And the fact that it was built around Harden in the first place is the reason that CP3 chose to come here. You don't "build around" a team that has the best record in the league. Maybe we do some minor tinkering. But it isn't an overhaul and it isn't building. And we have Harden to thank for that. CP3 came in and joined what was already built around Harden. We are thankful how smoothly Paul has integrated and it has been amazing how he has helped to make everyone else better. But no- we are not building around him.
FWIW... Trying to force @Clutch to unban FTW by continually clamoring what a great poster he was is asinine! If you really want to bring back your friend/relative send Clutch a private message and state your case as to why he deserves to be paroled. Contrary to what many on here think, Clutchfans is not a democratic website where the majority rule, there is only one boss and you/I are not him, remember that or you'll be joining your friend in the unemployment line! I have nothing against FTW, BUT if he was banned I'm sure it wasn't something that happened out of the blue. I'm sure he had several opportunities to turn the ship around and for whatever reason chose to ignore the warnings! ....... ....... .......
Yay!! Let's do what the Clippers did!! James Harden can see more than CP3. CP3 sees the court, but James sees all, including the hearts of mankind.
Because those stretches when CP3 went on the big runs were when he was playing against the other team's second unit. Harden's new rotation split has him matching up with the other team's first unit almost exclusively.
