Carmelo continues to mismanage his career. He will retire ringless and it will be no one's fault but his.
DO NOT blame on Melo, maybe he's playing bad on purpose, so OKC can trade him to Houston for Ryan Anderson straight up later. just jking
That was a great clutch shot by Wiggins. Btw, earth to Melo -- you are supposed to be in front of an offensive player, not behind him. Lol
The whole thing still seems fine to me... drop Kanter, add Melo. No-brainer. Didn't Melo actually nail a critical clutch 3 right before Minnesota's hail mary?
Melo has been nice shooting the ball, but his shot selection needs to improve. When the bench comes in they iso Melo and the results are actually quite good. But why operate in the high post and settle for a fadeaway when WB and PG are on the floor? He's leading them in shot attempts through three games and he's 33 years old.
Westbrick was playing nice through the first 11 quarters of basketball but then he went back to his old self. Just a matter of time...
Ariza + Ryno for Melo at the halfway point when the experiment derails? Although if Ariza keeps playing well...
Anderson at this point is one of the most toxic contracts in the NBA. Horrible performance, career playoff choker, has a history of injuries and is locked to a ridiculous contract for 3 more years. There is no way any team will accept Anderson unless you add tons of good players like Gordon+2 picks.
Ding ding ding. No team wants Ryno right now. He's like a slightly better Meyers Leonard. And God knows that no one wants that guy.
