gladly taking the pts this game. first game of the year, mistakes will be made by both teams and this game will be closer than many think.
I would too. Sadly, I don't see OU beating both UH and tOSU, but I have just been heartbroken too many times during the Stoops era in non-conference games to have too much optimism.
Not a UH fan, and if they win their fans (not all obviously) are going to be incredibly annoying / obnoxious for a few weeks at a minimum afterwards.....BUT......I'm pulling for the Coogs. Granted....it'll be a huge win so they have every right to be excited...just don't shove it down our necks every second of every day........also I hope they make it in the Big12.
just like the majority of other college fans? it wouldn't be very much different compared to any other college in a similar position
Don't forget TCU....whom OU escaped with a win, against a broken TCU team (so many injuries...) in 2015. Should be a fun matchup again this year, but in Fort Worth.
You are right. The reason is because UH has been cut out of the big picture since SWC was broken up. UH has been trying to rebuild the program and every time they start stacking something together that looks like it could develop the coach get's a better offer. Thankful Tilman Fertitta has stepped up and help get Herman on board and kept us from sinking with Tony Levine. Now UH is on the heels of a 13-1 conference championship season with the Peach Bowl Trophy. Like every fan base there are good fans and annoying fans.
LOL at the complaining about Coog fans. They've been fighting an uphill battle for years and have been very very quiet but when they finally see some light at the end of the tunnel they get made fun of for stepping out and enjoying themselves. Regardless, Coog fan is nothing compared to the UT, Aggie, LSU zombies I see on a daily basis. LSU fans are the worsts with the Aggies a close second.
I'm an OU fan. I love my city of Houston tho too. Gonna be a fun game. Little nervous for the Sooners. All UH has heard all summer is OU.
H-TOWN TAKEOVER, BABY YEAH! <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/0e22Y81A21g" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I agree, but Mayfield also went out at halftime that game, when OU was up 16. Trevor Knight almost choked that game away.
