The weight aspect is pretty big, so yea it is just like bullemia New Category for it in DSM V, don't think it was in IV but I may be wrong.
Is this serious? Vyvanse is awesome... it's like Adderall, except smoother. If all I have to do for a script is tell a doctor that I get the munchies, I'm in.
the off label/other uses for pharmaceuticals is insane. Market towards an undesired side effect and cash in hundreds of millions of extra dollars.
That's just horrible. Money grab, preying on weak minded people who are insecure about their weight. Yeah right, not meant to be used for weight lost, because binge eating is such a huge problem for skinny people. I'm sure them having a plus sized model in the commercial is also purely coincidence. Highly addictive, sudden death, heart attack, stroke, new or worsening mental illnesses and circulation problems - all to help stop your binge eating. "Problem" it "fixes" <<<<<<<<<<<<<< serious health conditions it puts you at risk for.
There are additives in food that trigger your body to want to eat more like MSG. That definitely does not help.
it sounds like it has to be a parody. It's close, but "may develop unexplained wounds" was the final straw on the commercial. (which leads me to say no, the initial BED also must be part of the parody)
Haven't even read about the drug but it sounds like it is just a stimulant and probably simply an appetite suppressant. This **** sounds as insane. Binge eating is caused from just not eating properly. It's crazy something like this even got approved for use. It reminds me of that female libido drug.
In googling Vyvanse, it seems to be a real drug. Unless you meant BED was the parody, and not vyvanse.
