The United States has its largest base in the region in Qatar, with over 11,000 troops stationed there doing a variety of really, really important things, like attacking ISIS in Iraq and Syria, supporting our allies in the region, deterring Iran, and providing facilities for our European allies, the one's trump craps on all the time and who are also fighting ISIS.
