He's an athletic big man that hasn't been very good in Denver but hasn't been horrible and has enough there that he's kept his job. He'll be depth here in Houston. Wonder if he'll be the full time swing tackle with Jeff Adams the starting guard or if they will try to move this kid to guard. Offensive line is concerning to me.

That's a bit of a stretch, but sure, I could see those with an agenda going that route. More likely it has to do with health problems and lack of depth at the tackle position though.
Maybe some internal worry over Duane Brown being back by season opener factored in as well. Anyway, I always thought they'd make a move at OLine. I just thought they'd claim somebody off waivers once rosters started being cut, but this works too. Wouldn't be surprised to see them add someone else on the line either.
Me either. Jeff Adams has looked terrible, but he's liked by the coaching staff so it's hard to imagine them dumping him. They've wanted to add a veteran to the interior line from the beginning of camp though, which is why they tried to get Myers to come back.
His inability to get on the field is all the ammunition needed. The Texans need him so hopefully he can get it together and live up to the pick. For whatever reason, the Texans 2nd and 3rd round picks have largely flopped but they do better than most teams in the 1st round and in rounds 4-7. As for this trade, I am hoping they give Clark a look at guard. The more versatile our backups, the better.
