    Den of thieves 6.5/10

It had some good action and for the most part entertaining, but a lot of the plot didn't make sense and didn't seem thrown together well. Plus the ending you can see from a mile away but I still say worth a watch.

Also can't wait for Black Panther either. Already got tickets

couple of amazon prime movies tonight

Whisky Tango Foxtrot, much better than expected, surprisingly funny. 8/10
Captain Fantastic . . . eh, not so impressive. good enough I suppose, but surprising it got as much hype as it did. tediously maudlin at times, I think that would be the right word for it. 5/10

saw OLD BOY the hollywood version. it was like a watered down and simplified version of the original korean movie. rewatched the korean version again and it was a masterpiece, everything about it. cinematography, writing, etc.

Brolin is generally good but he does not fit and he can't hold a candle to the Oh Dae Sung character.

(He got Thanos going for him.)

Old Boy was the life work of that other actor and he was never the same.

    Get out 4.5/5

I think it's a really refreshing no BS thriller, the pacing was good, acting was great, nothing dragged out or convoluted for no reason. Everything just done so well.

    Shape of Water 3-3.5/5

Beautiful cinematography, acting was good. Didn't care about the story, kinda too weird for my taste.

The Men Who Stare at Goats a STRONG 3.5/5 stars.
A Very Coens esque black comedy per se. Very surprised this movie didnt get enough buzz with such a strong ensemble cast and a pretty funny story line. George Clooney explaining to a clueless Ewan McGregor about what a Jedi Warrior is was fantastic.
Jeff Bridges character is pretty much if The Dude became a sarge. Nick Offerman, Kevin Spacey, Robert Patrick, Stephen Lang were all fantastic in their mininal roles. The music was A1.

    Hostiles 6/10

Acting was overwrought at times, pacing slow, but the movie was quite beautiful. Very solumn film. I wouldn't call it enjoyable, but it was something to look at!
